We had ten players last Monday for week number 3 and added another $20 to the SuperBowl pot we now have $62.
Come out for week number 4 we would love to keep the numbers and the pot growing. This week will be Green Bay at Philli. and Matt B. willl try to do his best Buffalo Bill impression by taking second for the third week in-a-row.

THE SAINTS REVIVE...

Thats right the Saints in a perfect story book way rivived a city's spirit in beating the falcons on there home opener in the new -old BIG EASY. Mike Lykins came to his first MNP game after Travis trashed talked him into it last week and took the tournament down, beating Matt B. in heads up.

Falcons vs. Saints in New Orleans

It will be the first game back in the renovated Superdome
since hurricane Katrina it will be an exciting game.

A POOR SHOWING.

The second week of Monday Night Poker was a poor showing,
not only by the Steelers and Jaguars combining for the lowest points ever on a monday night.
but also in poker we only had six players but Travis H. added his name to the trophy by winning the second week.
It was a small but lively game.

WHAT A SHOWDOWN.

I want to thank everyone who came to week one it was a great success.
We had 15 players which earned $30 for the superbowl game.
For those who couldn't make it I want to inform you of some detail changes.

1. The games on Monday are starting at 7:00pm

2. The buy-in is $12 with $2 going to the Superbowl game fund

3. I will soon put a Superbowl fund tracker on the blog
along with a role call of the players who have attended

Both Oakland and one of it's biggest fans were destroyed monday night as the Raiders were blanked by the chargers 27-0 and Ryan H. was crushed by Elizabeth B. in heads up.
