Here are the Details for the SuperBowl Poker Game.

* Sunday February 4th @ 1:00 pm @ the clubhouse like usuall

* We will have 3 Poker tables open available for the tournament

* Please call or E-mail prior to Saturday Feb. 5th to Rsvp

* Food will be provided. (we would appreciate $5 for those of you eating but it is not required) BYOB

* The BUY-IN'S will be determined by your attendance @ MNP games.

* BUY-IN'S/ times attended MNP

$10/ 5 or more

$12/ 4

$20/ 0

* If you don't know your attendance record feel free to call or E-mail

* All $ in for poker + the MNP $ from the year will be paid out in the tournament

* The MNP winner will get his/her name on the trophy and win it for good.

* The structure of the SuperBowl game will be the same as the MNP game including no re-buy's

* Players are welcome to stay and eat and watch the game after Poker families welcome as well

Poker was back on Monday Night and Josh Westbrook took everyone to school getting his first win and becoming the only player with dual naming rights on both the Benz trophies. The Panthers made a second half rally to beat the spleenless buccaneers 24 to 7 in the Football Game.

It was another good week of poker we had 12 players this week that's $24.00
that goes into the SuperBowl game bringing the total to $104.00 so far with plenty of weeks to go.

We had ten players last Monday for week number 3 and added another $20 to the SuperBowl pot we now have $62.
Come out for week number 4 we would love to keep the numbers and the pot growing. This week will be Green Bay at Philli. and Matt B. willl try to do his best Buffalo Bill impression by taking second for the third week in-a-row.

THE SAINTS REVIVE...

Thats right the Saints in a perfect story book way rivived a city's spirit in beating the falcons on there home opener in the new -old BIG EASY. Mike Lykins came to his first MNP game after Travis trashed talked him into it last week and took the tournament down, beating Matt B. in heads up.

A POOR SHOWING.

The second week of Monday Night Poker was a poor showing,
not only by the Steelers and Jaguars combining for the lowest points ever on a monday night.
but also in poker we only had six players but Travis H. added his name to the trophy by winning the second week.
It was a small but lively game.

I want to thank everyone who came to week one it was a great success.
We had 15 players which earned $30 for the superbowl game.
For those who couldn't make it I want to inform you of some detail changes.

1. The games on Monday are starting at 7:00pm

2. The buy-in is $12 with $2 going to the Superbowl game fund

3. I will soon put a Superbowl fund tracker on the blog
along with a role call of the players who have attended
